Dive in! The new beachside pool at Pelican Beach is NOW OPEN! Just steps from the beach and Tiki bar, poolside will be your favorite place to be! The new facility boasts an expansive pool deck, zero-entry pool, large outdoor spa, bench seating inside the pool, and additional seating around the pool deck. Sit back and relax and have the tiki bar staff bring your food and drinks to you (during peak season)! This pool is in addition to the indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool. Cafe and tiki bar open seasonally in January and February.
Our cleaning staff is taking every precautionary measure to make your stay a clean and safe one according to CDC guidelines, both cleaning and sanitizing the unit.
The addition of the new pool facilities will integrate with our current outdoor pools, spa, and Tiki Bar to create the best beachfront complexes in Destin!
Updated unit with new wood-look tile flooring throughout, ship lap ceilings, and other updates. This is a direct beachfront unit located on the sixth floor with beautiful views of the ocean. Have a relaxing cup of morning coffee watching the dolphins play or the great sunsets and sunrises.
This 6th floor premium unit has many upgrades such as granite in the kitchen and bathrooms. The living room has a 65" TV with streaming capabilities and Roku and Cox Ultimate channels, a DVD player, and Bluetooth stereo for enjoying your favorite music while relaxing. There is a 55" smart TV and a smart DVD player in the bedroom and individually-mounted smart TVs on the bunk beds. The décor and furnishings have also been updated. The chef-ready kitchen has everything you need, including linens, dishes, cookware, grilling utensils, both a Mr. Coffee and a Keurig. Starter supplies only are furnished.
This resort has a private beach. The cafe and Tiki bar are open and you never have to leave the resort. Many restaurants are within walking distance for take out. Walmart and Winn Dixie have grocery pickup.
There is a rental company on the beach for chairs/umbrellas. This unit DOES NOT include beach rental service. There are two chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler in the unit for our guests' use. For the busy summer months, it is recommended to rent your beach setups in advance. Beach service available March 1-October 31.
Coin-operated washers and dryers are centrally located on each floor as well as washers and dryers on the 5th and 15th floors which accept credit card payments. There is a keyless entry system in place so you never have to worry about losing your key! The unit is stocked with books, games, and family-friendly DVDs. It is nice, bright unit with everything needed for a wonderful vacation on the beach. Just walk out the door and start enjoying! This is "streaming-friendly" condominium offering a new level (100 Mbps) of high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access … perfect for the entire family!
Check out the toy box located on the beach before buying beach toys. It is a box where you can borrow sand toys, boogie boards, etc., and return them when you are finished. Or, if you purchase beach items and want to leave them behind for the enjoyment of others, you can place them in the toy box also.
Pelican Beach has a cafe (with pastries, coffee, pizza, etc. and incidentals such as sunscreen, sodas, beach toys), Tiki bar, indoor/outdoor pool, two large outdoor pools, two hot tubs, kiddie pool, exercise room, game room, and two tennis and pickleball courts.
During the summer, the Tiki Bar and café deliver to the beach. The cafe is open with seasonal hours in January and February and closed in November and December. The tiki bar is closed from Nov. 1 to March 1.
Pelican Beach has a catering service and can set up for all of your needs. If you are having a big gathering, buffets can be set up such as barbeques and cookouts. The office has full details.
With all of the amenities that the resort has, you never need to leave! But, if you do, there are lots of things within minutes that are fun to do. The Big Kahuna Waterpark is directly across the street with easy access with the newly-added pedestrian crosswalk. Harborwalk is 2.5 miles west with restaurants, shops, children's activities, and fishing charters, jet ski rentals, etc. Destin Commons is 3.7 miles to the east and is full of shops and restaurants. The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is 8 miles to the east with shops and restaurants. SanDestin and Grand Boulevard are about 9.5 miles to the east with additional upscale shopping and restaurants.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: $300.00 (Refundable upon departure barring no damages)
NO PET POLICY: There is a strict no-pet policy at Pelican Beach Resort. A $500.00 cleaning fee will be charged if a pet is discovered in the unit as well as the renter will be removed from the property without a refund. Guests will also be subject to a $250.00 fine by the resort.
NO SMOKING POLICY: Pelican Beach Resort is a non-smoking resort (this includes vaping). NO SMOKING IN UNIT OR ON BALCONY. Smoking will be allowed at the Tiki bar and in parking areas only. A $500.00 cleaning fee will be charged to guests who smoke in the unit.
We also have four other units at Pelican Beach Resort. They are VRBO numbers 823838, 999480, 686394, and 1352637. We also have a three-bedroom unit at Hidden Dunes Tennis and Beach Resort which is VRBO #2198861.

"To provide a pleasant and relaxed beach experience for all, the following will be enforced on our beach."
• No tents, canopies, or similar structures allowed on the beach.
• No glass bottles.
• No dogs allowed on the resort property or on the beach.
• Private chairs, umbrellas, and cooler set-ups are ONLY allowed behind the beach service set-ups.
• Parents are allowed on a temporary basis and for short periods of time to sit on their chair or towel while watching small children at the water’s edge. However, no coolers, beach bags, or umbrellas are allowed. Please respect the guests in the front row.
• Please keep music to a low volume at which only your immediate area can hear. Everyone likes to relax in different ways, so we ask that you’re respectful to all.
• Please avoid foul language.
• Pelican Beach Resort is a non-smoking property, including the beach. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Smoking areas are clearly marked and permitted near the Tiki Bar and parking garage.
• Before leaving the beach, we ask that you place all trash in garbage cans located at our beach entrance. We appreciate you keeping our beach beautiful.

The property is spotless with wonderful view. Host was very responsive and attentive to all my questions. Bunkbeds with tvs are great for kids especially at night.Location of resort is convenient to many seafood restaurants. Highly recommend and would like to return in future. We did not try the Grill at the resort but several other visitors said it was very good. They also had a Tiki Bar with live entertainment every night we were there. Pools and hot tubs were clean and security is visible. FAMILY ORIENTED. The only down side, which is no fault of the owner, was the beach chair rental company. The man in charge was rude and not helpful at all. We experienced this ourselves and witnessed this same curtness with another couple also the next day. His helper, Braxton, was very nice. Overall very nice property.

The location was lovely and the on-resort amenities were wonderful! The staff handled it being labor day and packed very well from check-in to the outdoor bar! Great host as well.
