We had an excellent time! The view from our room was superb! Breakfast and dinner was delicious and plentiful, beautifully presented, lots of variety, and quite different each day.
Thedan (sp?) the young woman who brought our meals and took care of us, was absolutely delightful. She was professional, meticulous in everything she did, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The two young men who helped were also very kind and very efficient.
Our stay gave us many good memories and we hope to return some day!

Breathtaking location in the mountainous setting of Gora. Spectacular views from our bedroom. Our family loved our time relaxing in the onsen overlooking the quiet hills. We also enjoyed trying all the new foods in the spectacular Kaiseki dinner. Sleeping on the floor was a novelty too!

Location up in the hills beautiful and tranquil.
Room smelled a bit funny. Possible combination of the meals that are served and eaten in the rooms. Wall paper peeling in parts and I saw a couple of big bugs near the hot spa that looked like cockroaches.

The staff were amazingly attentive and very friendly. The onsen was incredible and relaxing.
The food was not suitable for family at all, very traditional Japanese meal with lots of raw and pickled items - teens did not enjoy. The room was super basic and uncomfortable.
