The central section of the house—called Haus Ahoi—is approximately 120 square meters and offers plenty of space for up to 6 people. Haus Ahoi underwent extensive renovations in 2020, including new bathrooms and a new kitchen. Light-colored stone tiles, hand-planed oak floorboards, understated accessories, subtle Frisian design elements, and lovingly selected furniture and artwork create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

As you step into the living/dining area, you’ll immediately be enchanted by the atmosphere of the spacious room and the view of the beautiful south-facing terrace, enclosed by a Frisian wall—complete with colorful garden furniture and its own beach chair.

Immediately to the left is the open kitchen with a counter, induction stove, combination oven and microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. A cozy dining table for 8 people is, of course, within easy reach of the kitchen. In the living area to the right, a huge, incredibly cozy sofa set invites you to relax, read, and watch TV. The fireplace is not in working order.[nbsp] A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, which features two light-filled bedrooms with double beds and spacious built-in closets, as well as a bathroom with an open, well-lit shower, a large sink, and a toilet.

In the basement, you’ll find another bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a large bedroom with a double bed, a reading nook with an armchair, a sideboard, and a spacious closet. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and a large American-style refrigerator—which also includes a freezer compartment.
