Enjoy the more tranquil side of the Outer Banks beaches while only being a short drive from shopping, restaurants, fishing piers, golf (and miniature golf), and great sites like the Bodie Island lighthouse and Oregon Inlet.

This beach cottage is truly steps from the beach! It sits four houses back from the sand, on a small private drive. It also has two parking spots. The enclosed porch is great for enjoying morning coffee and hanging beach towels to dry. There is a nice view of the ocean, too! The outdoor shower is great for washing off sand before heading inside. The screen door at the top of the steps is a bit difficult to navigate at first. The family living area has plenty of seating that is pretty comfortable for a family of 4. There is no dining table, but the peninsula counter in the kitchen works fine as a dining spot. The kitchen is adequately appointed, with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. I would suggest adding a set of dry measuring cups and a quick read thermometer to the kitchen, though. The bedrooms have enough space and sleep up to six. The mattresses aren't as comfortable as I would expect but they're ok, I suppose. The bathroom is good, but the sink lacks counter space and the shower is a little dark. Overall, we would stay here again.

Beautiful location steps to the beach which was wonderful! Upon arrival, we picked up our keys (pretty easy) and went to the house....to find out the keys did not work! Ugh! So 2 hrs later, we were finally able to get in. Everyone was super nice and did what they could to handle the key debacle. House is cute and was very clean. AC worked like a champ!!! Beds were not that comfortable but tolerable, so beware... all in all, We would def stay here again!!

Great little house for two/three people . Beach access is amazing ! Quite Street , super nice people that live there year round . Outside shower lovely ! Only negative is the steps are steep going in and out of the screened porch . No landing at the top of the steps , so makes hauling things in the house little tricky . Have to say the best equipped kitchen I’ve seen a long time .
