The place worked out great for my extended family, and it was very clean. But there were a few hiccups that I want to mention, that might help improve others future stays.1. We were not send the door codes an hour before our check-in time as promised. We had several families arrive at that time and unable to get in. Was a big deal, no. I called the host and he sent me the codes. But could have been smoother.2. The exterior trash cans were full when we arrived on Sunday, and after a few days we didn't have a place to set our trash outside. I messaged the host on Wednesday, and he said trash pickup was on Thursday. The house has 3 trash cans, but apparently needs more, since we filled those 3 up again on Thursday after they were emptied and when we checked out on Friday.3. The two kitchens didn't have enough spoons and forks for 25 people. There also weren't any kitchen dish towels, so my sister bought some at the store.4. The home has several thermostats, which is fine, but some of them are smart ones and they would apparently change the temperature to a pre-programmed temperature in the middle of the night while sleeping.5. The last thing was the parking. I was told there were 7 parking spots in the back. But there are really 6 and a handicap parking spot. The business in the back has two spots, but one afternoon we came home to 3 cars in our spots. We finally got the business owner to move the 3 cars, but it took 30 mins and wasn't what we had planned.

While overall we really enjoyed our stay, the dishwasher in the main floor kitchen wouldn't start and the sink in the second floor kitchen was constantly backing up and needed to be plunged. We were a big group and did a lot of cooking and really needed both kitchens, so this was a little frustrating. The house was a bit more dated than what we expected, but overall, we had a great weekend! Note if anyone out there is allergic to feathers..... the furniture on the second floor is all stuffed with feathers as are the pillows on the couches.
