This was the perfect home for our multigenerational friend/family trip. Plenty of space to spread out, large rooms and bathrooms, the kids loved swimming in the warm pool every evening, and everyone enjoyed meals in the kitchen and garden. We appreciated how conveniently located the home was to everything and the views of the Chateau couldn’t be beat. Would book again without hesitation.

A fantastic house hidden in the centre of Saumur. The swimming pool was great and we loved the games room!

Massive thank you to Gilles and his wife for an amazing stay at this property. The photos, whilst accurate, do not do the house justice. It is truly amazing (and huge). We stayed for 2 weeks. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Saumur. Check in was easy and it was lovely to be met at the property and shown around, even when we were much later arriving than anticipated. The house is spotless and has everything you could possibly need. The indoor pool is a rare luxury, considering the location, with the added bonus of a fantastic games room with pool table, pinball and table football. You can never be bored in this house. Communication with Gilles was excellent and he gave great recommendations about what to see in the area. I really can’t rate this house highly enough. I can’t wait to go back.

The property is huge, elegant and centrally located. It is one of a kind! Being so central has one or two challenges, getting my 5m long car into the property being one of them. But then we had shops bars and restaurants a minute away, plus a swimming pool. Highly recommended
