I Gelsi is situated in a beautiful rural setting but within easy reach of the nearby town where there are some good shops and restaurants. There are also a few excellent restaurants within walking distance of the property.
It is an ideal place from which to explore beautiful Tuscany both by car and rail. Paolo knows the region very well and is happy to help you plan a route to include the best places to visit.
Enza and Paolo are extremely kind and helpful. Enza made a fabulous meal for us and we spent a delightful evening with the family and other guests.
The property is very traditional but has been modernised to a high standard and is well equipped. There is a lovely shaded terrace for dining and relaxing and the pool area is a great place to spend some time after a day travelling.
There is a CO-OP hypermarket on the outskirts of the town which sells pretty much everything including fresh produce of the highest quality. There is also "Space" the Prada outlet which is about a twenty minutes drive away.
I would recommend this property without hesitation and am already planning my return!
