Hickory Hideaway places you right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, just a short walk from the Parkway, restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it easy to enjoy the area without needing to drive.
The main level features a large open living, dining, and kitchen area with seating for up to 14. The living space includes a gas fireplace, 55-inch TV, and a sleeper sofa, with direct access to the deck. On either side of the main living area are two king bedrooms, each with a private bathroom featuring walk-in tile showers and their own TVs. A half bath and washer/dryer are also conveniently located on this level.
Downstairs, a second open living area provides additional space to relax, complete with a gas fireplace, sleeper sofa, and a mini kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Two more king bedrooms are located on this level, each with an adjoining bathroom - one with a walk-in shower and the other with a tub/shower combo.
For entertainment, the lower level includes a pool table and game table, while the deck offers a hot tub accessible from multiple rooms.
For larger groups, Chestnut Lodge is located next door and can be booked together for additional space.

The house was clean and a lot of space for two families. Host quickly responded to all requests. Check-in and check-out processes were quick and easy. The neighborhood was quiet. Views from the balconies of the park made you feel has if you were in the forest not in the middle of town. Location was within walking distance of the convention center. Also, it was an easy drive to the convention center parking.

Everything was very clean! Kitchen was stocked with all necessities. When I had to contact anyone(nothing major), I received a response quickly. We will definitely stay again!

The listing said the property is walkable to downtown which it is as the trip to town is downhill, but be aware, the trip back involves a steep walk.

This fit our Family perfect 6 adults 5 kids. A little hike to downtown but look for trolley stops we didn’t know there was one across the street from our cabin. Definitely do NoT pit garbage outside we had a bear and also one of us forgot to lock car and bear made himself at home and ate all the kids snacks.
