Shambalah Deluxe Suite is a romantic suite with a private pool, built inside a fully renovated former horse stable and completed in December 2023. You sleep where the horses once lived, with the paddocks and fruit trees of Finca Shambalah just outside.

Ideal for couples. Sleeps 2, up to 4 maximum.

THE SUITE
• Bedroom with a hotel quality king bed and cotton linens
• Sofa bed in the living area
• Private pool overlooking the paddock; the horses come right up to the fence by the deck
• Indoor and outdoor shower with a view
• Equipped kitchen with oven, coffee maker and blender
• One bathroom, air conditioning and wifi

THE ESTATE
The suite sits on a 5 hectare (12.4 acre) equestrian estate within a larger organic farm. You are welcome to walk the grounds, see the fruit trees and meet the farm animals.

• On site equestrian center, with an instructor who lives on the property
• Riding lessons and beach rides, optional and paid separately from your stay

LOCATION
Playa Lagartillo is a 10 minute walk. Playa Avellanas is 5 minutes by car, Playa Negra 10 minutes and Hacienda Pinilla 10 minutes. Tamarindo is about 25 minutes away and Liberia International Airport about an hour and a half.

Taxis are scarce here, so we recommend renting a car.

GUEST ACCESS
The suite, deck and pool are entirely private during your stay. The rest of the farm is yours to explore, except the other houses on the property, which are private.

GOOD TO KNOW
• The last stretch of road is unpaved.
• The suite has no TV.
• The horses live across the fence: admire them and feed them gently, but please do not enter the paddock.
• Equestrian activities are booked 24 to 48 hours in advance and paid separately.
