Enjoy your stay in one or all of these quaint cabins nestled just seven minutes and under three miles from historic downtown Fredericksburg, with easy access to all local attractions. The property consists of three private cabins, which can be rented together to accommodate up to six people, or booked separately for two.
The cabins are adorned with unique antique accents that make your stay in the Hill Country a rustic experience. They incorporate elements and materials from a local rural schoolhouse as well as a 1900's family barn, along with modern amenities such as 55” flat-screen televisions and king-sized beds. Each cabin also includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, table and WiFi- making your stay feel like a home away from home.
After enjoying your day visiting wineries, shopping on Main Street, sipping on locally produced wines and beer, and dining at one of the many restaurants that offer authentic German and Texas favorites, you can expect to relax on the spacious porch in front of a country view.
Located nearby is the owner's house and bakery, from which The Bakery Haus gets its name. You can expect complete privacy and some homemade treats- making your weekend at The Bakery Haus a truly sweet stay.
Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

Great accommodations, super comfortable and intimate. We would stay here again. A couple ideas for the host to consider. Light string outside washed into the house, illuminating the inside, through the stained glass window. Inside the TV has a “night light” at the bottom that also lit up the room. A timer on the outside lights would help, if there is one couldn’t tell. Not sure what to do about the TV, electrical tape if you need it “blackout” dark in the room to sleep. No storage for clothing; add a small dresser under the TV? Sophie’s cookies were a nice touch and right on time (we were pretty snacks when we got in). Tres Leches cabin is comfortable, cozy, quiet, and clean! Also appreciated that the host has a new cabin being built next door and NO construction was going on during our stay. Thank you for being so considerate!

There was nothing we didn’t Love about Bakery Haus. The cabin and the grounds were perfect. The cake was amazing, and the owners treated us like family. We’ll schedule our visits in the future around the availability here. Looking forward to our next visit.

The mattress has seen better days, its memory foam has deep swells, similar to sleeping in a hammock. Also, the shower head needs replacing, the hill country hard water has taken its toll and it barely spits water.
We love the location, and the rest of the house is great. Check-in/out is smooth as easy!
