Host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I left a bag at the property and he is personally helping me get it back. I really appreciate the personal care from an owner.

Everything was great!! Quite location! Near a lot of attractions and restaurants!

Greatvplace and space

The house was very nice and clean. When we arrived, the grass was very tall and I had to ask to have someone come cut it. Eventually the next door neighbor came over to cut it, about halfway through our stay. The water was extremely low in the lake so the dock was sitting in only about 1-2 feet of water. Not enough to swim in and certainly not enough to tie your own boat to, as advertised in the listing. The Kanjam set and lily pad were also no longer there but were still in the listing. We had rented a boat for Sunday but because we could not get it to the dock, ended up checking out a day early. I let the owner know we were leaving due to these issues but they did not offer any sort of consolation or refund, in fact when I asked where we could swim they recommended a public park 20 minutes away. When I am renting a house that is advertised as having a private dock on the water for a holiday weekend, the last thing I want to do is go to a public park to swim. Overall the house was nice and clean but the purpose of renting the house was entirely defeated when we discovered how low the water was.
