Just steps from the Mystic Museum of Art, Captain Daniel Packer Inn, and the iconic drawbridge, you'll be within easy walking distance of shops, waterfront dining, breweries, and everything else this seaside village has to offer.
Built in 1845, this Greek Revival home brims with character - think wavy glass windows, slanted floors, and steep old-world stairs - paired with thoughtful modern updates like fast Wi-Fi, HDTV, and efficient climate control. Guests frequently rave about our unbeatable location, cozy decor, and excellent communication.
Upstairs, you’ll find two comfy queen bedrooms, a newly renovated bathroom, and a reading nook with river views. Downstairs, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, eclectic living and dining areas, and a vintage vibe that feels like a step back in time - with all the conveniences of today.

Excellent location, very good property Because it’s a historic building dating to 1845, there ARE a couple quirks that should probably be fully disclosed Specifically: VERY steep stairs with shallow treads (with both bedrooms & bathroom on the top floor), and several abrupt transitions between rooms (especially kitchen to dining room)These could be quite hazardous to anyone with limited mobility or any kind of balance issue The property is charming, in a perfect location (easy walk to many restaurants, shops), very comfortable, very professional host

The location of this property is excellent. The apartment is spacious and in a wonderful location in walking distance to everything in town. There are water views across the street, and that's lovely!
Inside the floors are uneven and the layout is unusual. This was fine for us but wouldn't be if I was staying more than a night or two. For instance, the silverware is not in the same room as the kitchen. So preparing and serving a meal would not be as smooth as one might expect.
The real issue I had was that there was a cigarette smell in the unit that seemed to be covered up with fragrance. If you are sensitive to chemicals, this might be a problem.
But otherwise the home was comfortable and the owners did a great job communicating everything we needed to know. We would not stay there again because of the cigarette smell. This for us would be the main deterrent.
