The Nest is a lovely cottage located 1.5 miles from the medieval town of Spoleto. Ideal for two people, it is the perfect hideout in the peace of the Umbrian country. The Nest is on the side of an ancient, beautiful medieval tower, Torre del Falco, and is surrounded by a 12 acres park and woods. The property sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley and facing Monte Luco, the first hermitage place of St. Francis of Assisi. Surrounded by an olive grove, the beautiful swimming pool with salty water is there for you to swim or to get lazy lying on a deck chair. The blue of the water melts perfectly with the ivory of the stone, the green of the olives and the violet of the lavender bush, permeating the air with its relaxing fragrance. The cottage is composed by a bright sitting room with kitchenette, a double bed alcove and one bathroom, and has been fully renovated in year 2008.

Our host was absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming. The property was gorgeous and we stayed in the little cottage which was so cute and comfortable. Can't say enough, just loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer and wouldn't hesitate to come back - hope we can one day. Umbria is beautiful. Thank you Beatrice, you and your home are wonderful!

We loved our stay here and hope to stay here again. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed lounging at the pool between adventures and soaking in the views of mountains and gardens from all directions. We typically walked into town (1.5 miles); the surrounding roads are beautiful. Rides were easy to arrange as well. Beatrice is an amazing host. I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.
