The apartment is charming and on a quiet street. This is during the uprising following the arrest and death of the drug lord. The host graciously extended stay as my flight home was cancelled. VBRO was able to make the official schedule change. The neighborhood is close to the restaurants and shops of Zona Romantica but has the laundries , food shops and other necessities close by.

The place is well located, but it is located on top of a hill you will need to climb up and down, there are also stairs leading into the place you will need to carry your luggage. Communication is clear, but make sure you have all your instructions before you get into the home there is absolutely no signal without wifi and there is no wifi in the 2nd room. It is mostly clean, but the shower curtains are very dirty. Additionally the place is very very humid and smells like humidity. I appreciate that the clean up fee is included and there is minimal checkout.
