Most single-family homes on the beach are built on pilings. Guests must climb a full set of stairs to reach the first floor/main living area. Please contact us for properties with elevator access or bedrooms on the ground floor.
Pointe West Beach Club
Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, children’s pool, lazy river(heated in the winter), fitness center, concierge, and restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (4 years and older) The use of the Beach Club is optional. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.
The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts dune buggies, or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

House was great and having the pool was a must. Few things that could have been improved would be that the toaster oven didn’t work, the grill grate was completely rusted, and the downstairs floor needed to be gone over with a swiffer. Overall, we would stay there again.

4 bedroom set up was perfect, kitchen and main floor were also perfect, front & back porch rocking chairs were used all the time and the private pool was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome stay. Everything you need is provided and the owners are just a call away. The house is beautiful!

There were good and bad to this house. I will start with the negatives. 1. Mosquitos were horrible the entire trip. The walk from house to beach was nothing but mosquito bites..and because of this, we had to take the long way, which was not 3 minutes 2. Toaster oven was still broken. Back in previous reviews, it said the same thing. Still not fixed. 3. Dishwasher broke twice. They had to come out and fix it both times. 4. Washing machine had to be replaced while we were there because it went out in the middle of the load. 4. Parking was not the best. We have 14 people and could only have 4 cars and not allowed to park on the street. 5. Supplies: 1 Toilet paper roll per bathroom...1 actual towel per person and not including beach towelsPositives: 1. Pool. This is where we mostly hung out. Oddly enough, this was the only place downstairs with no mosquitos. 2. A lot of storage and space inside the house 3. The response time was great. With the problems we had, they answered quickly and sent someone out quickly 4. Beds were very comfortable 5. It was very cleanIf it were not for the massive mosquito problem, it would have been a 4 or 5.
