Southern Sands is a low density complex - only 18 units - that is directly on the beach, and easy walking distance to the center of town! Island Outfitters, Lauria's, & High Tide directly across the street. Ice cream/snowcone/deli store is a block!
Recently replaced sleeper sofa and living room furniture plus new Smart TVs with Netflix, HULU, etc (user account required). Tap to Connect Wifi block in the kitchen!

Condo has all appliances, whirlpool tub in hall bath, ice maker, CableTV(3), DVD, CD-Stereo. Complex includes Elevator, BBQ grilling area, full size Washer/Dryer available - credit/debit card service on each floor ($3.00/cycle). Free WiFi included. Parking Permits are $42/ea(2 MAX).

This was the perfect place for the 2 of us. Clean, well appointed, 3rd floor. The pool was nice and quiet, great section of the beach, walkable to anywhere. We would’ve bought this condo if it was for sale. We have stayed in Gulf Shores many times and this one checked all the boxes. Easy check-in, check out. Great place, relaxing stay!

This was our second time staying in this unit. While it had everything we needed, the cleanliness wasn't 5 stars. Sand on the counters and hair on the bathroom floors. Stained sheets on the twin bed were reported so a new set was delivered. When we checked out and I pulled the sheets off the bed, the mattress pads and pillows were very, very stained. I reported this to the management company and never heard back. The mattresses need to be replaced! Sad as this location is great, especially if you are in town for a beach volleyball tournament like we were.
