All the monuments (Vatican, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon) we went to were within 25 minutes by bus or walking.
Not an ideal spot for tall people and families with babies due to the stairs getting to the unit. However all the amenities such as laundry, AC and stove were necessary and great for our visit.
