The half-timbered village of Nemitz is surrounded by heathland and forest and offers numerous hiking and biking opportunities. Nemitz is located directly adjacent to the Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve. It is only 9 km to the Elbe River. The town of Gartow is 12 km away and offers additional recreational activities, including a thermal spa, Lake Gartow with boat rentals, stand-up paddleboarding, a swimming beach, an eagle observation station, and a wildlife enclosure. We have a section of the house to ourselves. It's very clean and seems like it's been renovated recently. The property has other houses for host and their family, so the host is on site and easy accessible. We are able to use the garden, which is beautiful with variety of flowers and plants. It feels like a place from a fairy tale.
