We booked this place for a long weekend in Louisville and it honestly exceeded what we expected from the photos. The house has so much character. High ceilings, big bay windows, and that old Victorian charm you just do not get in a regular rental. We had ten people between two families and nobody felt cramped. The king room on the second floor was gorgeous and the beds were genuinely comfortable, which is not always a given.
The location is the real winner. We walked to dinner on Bardstown Road twice and it was maybe five minutes on foot. Being that close to the restaurants and bars made the whole trip easy. We also did a bourbon tour one afternoon and everything was a quick drive from the door. Parking in the back was a huge plus since we had two cars and never had to worry about the street.
The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked a big breakfast one morning without missing a single thing. Coffee station was a nice touch. The kids basically lived on the playground out back, which bought the adults some quiet time on the patio. Getting in was simple with the keypad and the host answered our one question within a few minutes.
Only thing worth mentioning so you know what to expect is that you share the backyard with the unit downstairs and the hot tub belongs to that side, but it never affected us at all. We had the space to ourselves the whole time. Would absolutely stay here again and would tell any friend heading to Louisville to book it.

Will definitely look for this house the next time we are back in Louisville! house was exactly like it was advertised. Host were on top of everything and VERY responsive. They gave very clear directions on how to enter the home and how to get to the private parking. Safe neighborhood. Plenty of room and the rooms were very clean. Overall very, very happy with this stay.

This property is in a terrific location with its own parking. I really appreciated that they had dishwasher tabs and laundry soap.
If you are a clean person this might not be the place for you, towels and bed sheets are stained and I am not sure our sheets had been washed when we arrived. Our other issue was with the wifi. Ir went out day 4 and we ne we got it back, the owner tried to be helpful but ultimately put us in charge of speaking with the wifi company! Overall the stay was less than desirable.
