À propos de cette location de vacances
An elegant Georgian country house set in a secluded location on the grounds of Henham Park, enveloped by leafy trees and sprawling lawns with long sunset views. This wonderfully spacious hideaway is ideal for a large family gathering or a long-overdue catch-up with friends. Discover the delights of Southwold only 5 miles away with its long beach walks, cafes and restaurants. Back at your home for the week mark your special occasion with Sundowners followed by a meal in the formal dining room.
This beautifully appointed home embodies understated country elegance with exposed beams, Georgian architectural features, a sweeping staircase, stone floors and long views. Unwind in your choice of two inviting lounge areas, each with ultra comfortable sofas and tranquil meadow views. The new west facing terrace to the front of the house is perfect for a grazing board and a drink while the sun sets across the park and later in the evening there is a Frame TV displaying a painting of Henham Park (see if you can spot Park Farm House) which becomes a smart TV with the flick of a button. Stepping into the magnificent dining room, throw another log on the crackling wood burner, raise a toast, then delve into a memorable meal. Keen chefs can perfect their knife skills in the farmhouse kitchen, while those looking to relax can perch at the breakfast bar with a tipple. Coffee lovers are also well catered for, with a Sage Barista coffee machine on hand for the perfect morning brew.
As night falls, discover a total of eight graceful bedrooms in a range of configurations to suit the group. Choose from a ground-floor triple or ascend to access a further seven rooms, each styled in crisp neutral tones. Outside, pick your teammates and enjoy lawn games in the sprawling garden then tuck into a picnic.
Make a beeline for Southwold Pier (5 miles) and while away the afternoon scoffing ice creams, sipping local ales, and snapping pictures in the illusion mirrors. Saunter by the candy-coloured beach huts and dive in for a dip or partake in the famous crabbing culture of Walberswick (5 miles).
This property comes with onsite parking and there is also a dual 22kW EV charging point within the compound for guest use.
