This place was clean and relatively new. Nice neighborhood and views of the water. It’s close to the airport runway but the sound never was an issue. Only downside it’s a 30 minute walk or a 12 plus taxi ride to and from downtown. To improve the unit I would suggest black out curtains because the black out shades still let a lot of light in. Also the tv does not have cable or satellite. You have to log onto a streaming service to watch network and sport channels.

The home and location are beautiful. The airport noise/proximity isn't a problem at all...it's actually fun to watch the planes land and take-off. The furnishings and amenities were excellent. Christine was responsive to calls and texts. The only draw back was that there is construction right next door. Thankfully, the noise was manageable and Christine help to communicate with the builder; however, the compressor turned on at 8am and off at 4pm.

The location was ideal, making it easy to access town. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, perfect for a group of guys looking to unwind and fish. Highly satisfied with the property—clean, well-maintained, and in great condition. I’d definitely recommend it to others!

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms - it is a split-level layout which adds more privacy. All the basics, nice kitchen with plenty of pots/pans and dishes with utensils. Wildflowers in the backyard, lovely view of the water and quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in town of Sitka - shopping, yummy seafood, Bear Sanctuary, Raptor Sanctuary, Alaskan Native culture, crafts and dances. Wonderful visit!
