Located in the left wing of a 19th-century castle, the Gîte du Theil au Servant is spread over two floors. On the first floor, there is a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with a toilet, a bedroom (1 140-bed and 1 90-bed), and a laundry room. Upstairs, one bedroom (3 120-cm beds) has its own private shower room and toilet, and a second bedroom (1 140-cm bed and 1 120-cm bed) also has its own private bathroom facilities. A large, tree-lined park with outdoor furniture is available, as well as a garage. Two remarkable sequoias tower majestically over the grounds, adding to the property’s natural charm. At the far end of the garden, visitors can meet two adorable donkeys, and all around the cottage, the pastures are home to the cows of the owner, Michel, a cattle rancher. Heating is wood-fired (flat rate); bed linens and towels are available for rent, and household linens are provided. The cottage is located 10 km from Chauvigny (Summer Festival, falconry show) and 15 km from Montmorillon, both designated “Cities of Art and History.”
