Mondragó Duri is a fabulous, high-end property whose origins date back 300 years. The house has been completely renovated; the result is immaculate, sophisticated accommodations with heating throughout the house and air conditioning in the bedrooms. High ceilings with exposed wooden beams and dry-stone walls preserve the rustic ambiance. At Mondragó Duri, a relaxing atmosphere surrounds you in every room, each with its own style, and some of which have been converted into exceptionally spacious suites. On the first floor, you’ll be welcomed by the spacious entryway, furnished with antique pieces. The open-concept living area features a fantastic sofa arrangement from which you can enjoy a soccer game or a movie on the large flat-screen TV. From the living area, you have access to the rear terrace and to the spacious kitchen, which also opens onto the terrace. A pantry and a spectacular dining table for 12–14 people make the kitchen a popular gathering spot on the property. Next to the kitchen is a simple guest shower room, and the living room provides access to a wheelchair-accessible guest restroom. On the first floor, you’ll also find a beautiful suite with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub and shower, and access to the outdoor area. The second bedroom, furnished with two single beds, is also spacious and features an en-suite shower room. On the upper floor, two stunning suites await, both with double beds and en-suite luxury bathrooms featuring Jacuzzi tubs and separate showers. One of the two suites also offers a private terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, and to top it off, the shower is equipped with a hydromassage feature. The fifth bedroom is furnished with one single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. The outdoor area is wonderful, spacious, and relaxing. The house was once built on undeveloped land, surrounded by almond, fig, and carob trees. At the front of the house, a few palm trees and banana plants evoke a Mediterranean atmosphere. Next to them is a carefully tended little rose garden. The pool area lets you forget the stresses of work life by swimming a few laps in the 5 x 12-meter pool, which features brick steps, or by sunbathing on the beautiful terrace or in the lawn garden. For children, there is a 0.5-meter-deep wading pool. A brick barbecue ensures that outdoor culinary delights are not neglected. For those looking to stay active, there’s a ping-pong table on a covered terrace next to the house.
