The apartment, furnished for 6 people, is located 50 meters from the main beach of Ostia Lido, Rome’s seaside district, and 30 minutes from downtown Rome, accessible by car or metro (Lido Centro Station is 700 meters away)
On the boardwalk, just 100 meters away, you can enjoy spectacular sunsets from the famous “Curvone” while sipping an aperitif at the kiosk, right on the beach!
The apartment has been completely renovated and furnished with attention to detail, ensuring you have a pleasant stay—just like at HOME!
New: double-paned windows and new security grilles!! Installed in December 2024
It consists of a spacious entryway, a living room with a sleeper sofa, two large double bedrooms, each with a balcony featuring awnings; two bathrooms with showers and hairdryers (one bathroom is en suite)
The fully furnished kitchen is equipped with a wide variety of small appliances, as well as a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, kettle, moka pot, Nespresso coffee machine, mixer, hand blender, and toaster. You’ll find tea bags and herbal teas, coffee pods and ground coffee, sugar, and sweetener.
A washing machine, dryer, and two clotheslines are also available for guests.
A travel crib with a comfortable mattress topper, high chair, booster seat, and children’s dishes, plates, and glasses are also available upon request!
You can also enjoy a terrace, furnished with a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a coffee table, as well as a dining table with chairs, lounge chairs, and awnings.
From the terraces, you can even see a lovely glimpse of the sea!!...
The house has both air conditioning and heating.
We offer very reliable free Wi-Fi, which is also great for remote work.
In the living room, the chandelier—equipped with a comfortable ceiling fan—provides a great alternative to the air conditioning.
Our neighborhood comes highly recommended both for its summer nightlife and for its natural beauty in all seasons: walks along the waterfront (both on the street and on the beach) allow you to reach the Port of Ostia on foot; you’ll find shops, bars, and restaurants both along the street and at the port.
Be sure to try the fresh local seafood, the excellent meat, and the various types of pizza and piadina.
Don’t miss the famous, historic Krapfen at “Paglia” in Piazza Ancor Marzio!
There are several ice cream shops in the area; the ice cream at “Glauco,” just 100 meters from the house, is excellent.
Every Saturday and Wednesday morning, you can walk to the local market—just a 10-minute walk away—where you’ll find clothing and various items.
The fruit, vegetable, and meat market—open every morning from Monday through Saturday.
You can also reach the “Pineta di Castelfusano” by car, bike, metro, or bus, where you can enjoy the shade and coolness of the pine trees, go for a run, or relax with a picnic.
Just two metro stops from Ostia Lido Centro is the “Ostia Antica Archaeological Park,” which is very interesting (guided tours can be booked in advance).
There are also two pharmacies and several banks just a short walk from the house.
Upon request, we provide beach towels for rent.
We issue a standard tax receipt (invoices cannot be issued).
Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance.
If you need to check in after 8:00 PM, a 20-euro surcharge will apply, payable in cash upon arrival.
This surcharge is 40 euros for check-ins after 11:00 PM and check-outs before 7:00 AM.
If you lose the keys, you will be charged 100 euros (cost of replacing the lock), so please take good care of them.

My family’s stay in Ostia began with a very easy taxi ride from the airport in Rome. Once we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host, Cinzia. Prior to our arrival, Cinzia was easy to contact and responded quickly to any questions we had. After introductions, we were given a full review of the property along with many helpful suggestions for shopping and dining nearby. There were exceptional cafés, bars, and restaurants to choose from, all within easy walking distance.We also had the opportunity to visit Ostia Antica, a historically significant site in Italy that feels especially authentic and is visited mostly by locals and fortunate travelers from abroad. We utilized the local train for our return trip back to Ostia and again found everything very easy, from purchasing tickets to being dropped off within walking distance of the property. The property itself felt very safe and secure, and the other residents were kind and helpful. The close proximity to the beach was also extremely convenient.Checking out was seamless, and our deposit was returned on the day of departure. Thank you, Cinzia, for a wonderful stay.
