When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the 10-square-meter balcony. Two bicycles (size of your choice; upgrade to e-bikes available for an additional fee) are included in the rental price.
The vacation rental is centrally located yet quiet, in the immediate vicinity of Beningaburg Castle. Bakeries and supermarkets (Aldi, Netto, and Edeka) are within walking distance. Dornum is located about 3 km inland on the East Frisian North Sea coast, roughly in the middle of the East Frisian peninsula. The nearby coastal towns are Dornumersiel and Neßmersiel, which are about 5 km away and easily accessible by car, bicycle, or bus. Here you’ll find sandy beaches, etc. Dornum itself is an idyllic, historic town with a central layout, offering numerous shopping options, restaurants, and historic buildings (market square, church, castle, Beningaburg, post mill, etc.). The town center invites you to stroll and linger. A little removed from the tourist hustle and bustle of the coastal towns, you’ll still find a bit of peace and tranquility here. Ideal for cyclists, as there is a well-developed network of bike paths here. Children’s playhouses in Dornumersiel and Neßmersiel; a heated seawater swimming pool in Dornumersiel. Mudflat hikes to the islands of Baltrum or Norderney. Numerous excursion options to the East Frisian Islands and Heligoland, and of course to the cities of Aurich, Norden, and Wilhelmshaven.
