For day trips, we recommend the coastal towns of Niendorf, Timmendorf, and Scharbeutz. Karl’s Strawberry Farm in Warnsdorf, the Niendorf Bird Park, and, of course, Hansapark in Sierksdorf also promise a wonderful day out.
Lübeck’s Old Town (approx. 20 km) and Hamburg (approx. 80 km) are also easily accessible by car or train and well worth a visit.
