Enjoy your vacation with us at the Alte Küferei in Erkheim-Arlesried. In a beautiful, quiet location on the outskirts of the village, we rent out a charming apartment for 2 people as well as a spacious 100 m² vacation rental for 2–4 (max. 5) people (see second listing).
The Alte Küferei (a former cooperage) is a farmstead over 500 years old, which we have been renovating with great passion since 2021. In addition to our living space, we’ve also created a spacious vacation apartment and a cozy vacation unit.
Here, we’d like to introduce you to the “Kleine Auszeit” vacation apartment on the first floor:
The apartment features:
a bedroom (1.80 x 2.00 m double bed) with a wardrobe. The bed is, of course, already made for your vacation, and a selection of pillows awaits you!
a spacious, fully equipped kitchen-living area for cooking together and relaxing, with access to a private terrace. The kitchen includes an oven, a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a coffee maker, and a kettle. A cozy couch and a smart TV invite you to wind down
in
the evening
an east-facingterrace for private use, complete with a table and chairs for a sunny breakfast!
A spacious bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and private sauna is perfect for relaxing!
Shared use for vacation guests: washing machine, dryer, gas grill, campfire pit, various board games, book exchange
Baby package available for an additional fee: crib, high chair, stair gate—feel free to contact us!

Spend your vacation close to nature with long hikes in the forests right behind the house, extended bike rides through the beautiful Unterallgäu region, or a trip to the mountains (40 min) for downhill or cross-country skiing!
Family outings to Legoland (Günzburg) or Ravensburger Spieleland, Skylinepark (Bad Wörishofen), or Allgäulino (Wertach) are also possible in under an hour’s drive.
Would you prefer a short city trip? Munich, Augsburg, Ulm, Lindau, and Lake Constance are all about an hour’s drive away!
We’ve prepared everything you need for a relaxing evening after an eventful day—or even for an entire wellness weekend! For your very own private sauna experience, we provide bathrobes, sauna towels, hand towels, and sauna infusions!
The doors to the vacation rental and the vacation apartment share a common entrance, which is used exclusively by guests. This makes it easy to rent both units at the same time and—for example, as a large family—enjoy them together in complete privacy!
