Indigo Cottage #2 at Pecan Hill is our next hosting iteration, inspired by rural living, and decorated in a Cottagecore theme. It's located just down the road from the Carmine "Y" and 5 minutes from some of the best shopping in the world. Our cottage offers all the creature comforts that travelers to the Roundtopolis have come to expect, such as a Keurig with K-cups, tea, creamer sugar, and light snacks. The kitchenette with oven, range and microwave is equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and serve ware for preparing your own meals. The Queen bed, Twin daybed/trundle, and bathroom is appointed with 100% cotton linens. Indigo cottage is situated on a quiet 12 acres with mature pecan trees and sweeping sunset views. After enjoying all of the activities that the area has to offer, guests can unwind on your own deck, hardscapes beneath the trees, on the party patio at the Little Red Barn, or by exploring the property.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Diamond Oaks Ranch as there were no vacancy at the ranch. It was about 15 minutes away, which wasn’t bad. We had a minor miscommunication for our reservation due to Vrbo not notifying the host, but when I reached out, the host was immediately responsive and resolved the situation. It’s just minutes away from Round Top, so after our games, we went to town and enjoyed a great evening at Round Top Brewery and Kitchen. It was dark by the time we made it to the cottage, but it was fairly easy to find. The cottage itself was very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. The shower had great pressure and I loved the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. The towels were super fluffy. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I’m so glad we got the late game, so we got to sleep in a little. I really appreciated the snacks and the cold water in the little fridge. My husband really enjoyed having his cup of coffee on the little porch. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay. If we play at Diamond Oaks Ranch in the future, we will stay here again. Thank you!

Adorable little cozy cottage!My two girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at Valerie & Tom’s Cute Cottage! The location is perfect for a short getaway. Only a little over an hour from Houston (of course depending on traffic). The drive to, from and around the area is very scenic. It gives you that “small town” feeling. It’s very close to Round Top and great restaurants nearby. Don’t be fooled by the cottage’s size: it has everything you need! From towels, to hairdryer (you forgot your curlers? No worries, there’re curlers!), hangers, extra pillows, microwave, cute fridge, kitchen basics (course wine opener and glasses!!) and more. Above all, the cottage is super clean! Valerie and Tom are very nice and responsive. Best hosts!! Thank you, Valerie and Tom, for letting us stay in your little cozy cottage! We will definitely come back!Leah C (Houston)
