We had a memorable stay and the unit surpassed our expectations by far. This unit is at the end of the building, the ocean is right outside your (spacious) balcony door. Very roomy, lots of space for everyone, well-appointed, no problems with the AC, high end washer and dryer, we felt relaxed and comfortable in our unit the entire stay. Not a criticism, because it did not affect or bother us nor did we have any mechanical issues, but the kitchen and bathrooms show a little bit of age. With that being said, the rest of the unit has been updated and is wonderful, loved the LVP flooring in the entry, kitchen, and living room areas...and nice carpeting in all the bedrooms. Again, it's just a very comfortable unit. The resort is fantastic, can't say enough about it, we also didn't realize just how nice it was before we booked. Nice oversized pool, nice grounds, well kept, property is secured using RFID bands to the pool/courtyard area. One of the best restaurants in the area is on property, it was delicious! The beach is not crowded whatsoever, plenty of space, nice people all around you. Hear me on this because it was a big deal to us and very noticeable, unlike OBX beaches to the north, the ocean water temperature was very comfortable, if not warm. The North Topsail area was a hidden gem to us, the main beach road is 45 MPH because it is almost exclusively residences or condo complexes that are not overbuilt. No high-rise hotels, no wings on every corner, very few restaurants, just beach and relaxation. Food is not far away if you want to each out. There are several good restaurants just over the bridge in addition to a Food Lion just minutes away. We made three trips to Surf City to eat and even at 6 and 7 o'clock in the evening there was no traffic (again 45 MPH speed limit all the way down), it was an easy 15-20 minute drive. Surf City is a gem as well and we never had a bad meal and we always had great service. I'd advise reservations at most restaurants, with no reservation you can expect a 30 to 60 minute wait during peak season. We fell in love with North Topsail Beach, Betsy was absolutely amazing, very hospitable, she truly cares and is interested in you enjoying your vacation. Great communication, easy instructions, easy check-in, and Melissa was our own personal island assistant. Sol Searching Properties knocks hospitality out of the park.

The place was beautiful with amazing ocean views. The pool area and beach access were great and we enjoyed onsite restaurant. Only recommendation would be to add curtains or shades in the primary bedroom.

We have rented this same unit 2 years ago. Advertised fully renovated. Same dated furniture. Shower in the master bedroom, dripped then, still the same. Toilets all flush slow!! The dryer took 3 cycles to dry. It would have been nice to have extra towels and washcloths. Communication is terrible! I sent a message the very first day saying I need another wristband and then sent a message the next day, I got a response “will look into it.” So then a manager approached me asked if I had an armband. I said I communicated that I needed one and never heard back. He said she knows that the office would provide. And be careful going out on the porch. The door locked twice on its own. The pools are beautiful!Robin Z
