It’s a funny one this. The views are 10/10, the Villa itself is set up as a rental villa and is absolutely fine we had a wonderful family holiday (6 adults) however to be greeted by our host’s rep Mike telling us that we may have trouble with all the WC’s ….all of the flush plates missing and the workings exposed, being told that some of the exterior lights not working and having to access property via a 1.1km unmade road was not the ideal start.That said we never had any issues with the WC’s and whilst the unmade road never improved providing you have the appropriate veh to traverse it you get used to it.The pool was fantastic lovely and big and warm also with the adjoining pool house which was very handy too with fridge ( we used for beers as kitchen fridge not very cold).A few minor changes would greatly improve the experience ie. no bedside / reading lights in any of the bedrooms, mattresses are all doubles and very, very firm.We had an amazing 10 days stay the views and the pool / outside areas outweigh all of the snags.Mike was always available, very friendly both himself and his staff keep the Villa spotlessly clean.

Beautiful villa in a lovely location. Had everything we needed, and more. Amazing views from the terrace and a clean, large swimming pool. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, private property. A car is required for travel.

Amazing, stunning place. Ditch the double

This is a great property, the photo's almost don't do it justice, the inside is large, clean and comfortable, the outside is stunning, especially the salt water pool, which is huge and great for smaller children with such a sizeable shallow end, but over 6' deep at the other.All the bedrooms have great air con - as does the main living area (although one unit wasn't working during our visit - but that didn't make a difference).Being able to walk (via a private path) to a little bay is also very special, meaning kids can enjoy an hour snorkle without having to drive anywhere.Michalis, the caretaker, turns up every other day to make sure the pool and outside areas are clean, he also takes away the rubbish and offers to change bedding - he was excellent.Helpful hints for future guests; - you will definately need a car, and the track the property is quite rough. - Bear in mind this part of Kefalonia has many wasps, although they were not agressive - more annoying. This is the same if you eat out in Sami. Bring some wasp/sting stuff just in case.- The local shops in Sami are great, no need to stock up at Lidl like we did! - Eating out in Sami is very reasonable, and we ended up eating out more than cooking by the end of our holiday. - The beds are a little firm (which some may prefer),- The beds are doubles, not singles pushed together, which could reduce flexibility.- make sure to bring some crocs or water shoes, as many beaches are stoney
