The property was even nicer in person than in the photos! The kitchen had everything you could need, but since we didn’t know what was there, we brought crockpots and mixers and blenders, etc! It would be nice to have access to a list of kitchen items. There is a resort concierge and while they always responded, getting an answer to a direct question was hard without sending multiple requests! Several people in our group said that in a similar rental, there had always been a notebook with instructions like what to do at check out. That question was asked several times and we got multiple different instructions. I also tried 3 different ways to coordinate having a photographer come for a photo shoot, with the last text being ‘it’s all taken care of’ only to have the photographer show up without any prior approved access. There needs to be more info about what’s available at Wild Dunes itself…possibly in a notebook! It was amazing to have such a large house with great spaces for mingling and great spaces for isolating! I highly recommend this property for your big group!

Nice view of the beach. It rained so we didn't go to the pool.

For the price of this property, I would have expected a lot more. No beach towels or beach chairs provided. It is on the beach and we had to rent them. Stairs to the beach were boarded up so had to walk through the garage. Signed on elevator and fireplaces said “not for guest use”. Water pressure was low. Dishwasher started leaking on Day 2 of our stay and a repairman was sent on our checkout day. It lists indoor pool as an amenity, but when I asked where it was, was told there isn’t one. We were provided with minimal towels, laundry detergent, trash bags and dish soap. Needed to ask for more supplies. The decor inside and updates were nice. The management team was responsive to most requests, with the exception of the dishwasher. For a house this pricey and right on the beach, I would have expected more.
