Throstles Nest Hotel

Clean room and very friedley

Decent for a budget stay. Attentive staff with a quick response time.

Good place to stay on match days, and value for money in Liverpool

We had Room 202, so that is the base of our experience. Staff was helpful. Beds was all right, clean comfy, but with only one pillow per bed; the other pillow was a decoration, I was undecided if there is fresh cover on it or not, so it's definitelly a no go for sleep. There is no fridge in the room, no elevator in the house but a narrow staircase. No chance for breakfast, however this hotel adverts itself as a FOUR STAR hotel for some reason. One of the provided milks was off. The shower cabin is tiny, do the job, but if you just a little out of "normal" size, it will be narrow. Floor is a good old sqeaky floor. You can find a proper 3 or 4 star hotel closer to the center for a few tenners more.
