À propos de cette location de vacances
Stay in a private guesthouse tucked behind my home in Orlando's vibrant Colonialtown neighborhood. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and The Plaza Live, while enjoying quick access to Mills 50, Downtown Orlando, Winter Park, AdventHealth, Universal, Disney, and everything Central Florida has to offer.
Whether you're visiting family, attending a concert, in town for work, a medical stay, or simply exploring Orlando beyond the theme parks, this cozy guesthouse offers a comfortable home base in one of the city's most walkable neighborhoods.
The open studio comfortably sleeps 2–4 guests and can accommodate up to 6 with a queen bed, full bed, and pull-out sofa. You'll also enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, washer/dryer, WiFi, dedicated workspace, self check-in, and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Guests consistently appreciate the convenient location, great value, clean accommodations, and privacy.
Instead of staying in a tourist district, you'll experience a genuine Orlando neighborhood with local restaurants, parks, and entertainment just minutes away.
Nearby Attractions
- Plaza Live – 10-minute walk
- Mills 50 District – 5 minutes
- Leu Gardens – 5 minutes
- AdventHealth Orlando – 5 minutes
- Downtown Orlando & Kia Center – 10 minutes
- Camping World Stadium – 10–15 minutes
- Winter Park – 10 minutes
- Universal Orlando – about 20 minutes
- Walt Disney World – about 35 minutes
- Orlando International Airport (MCO) – about 25 minutes
A Lynx bus stop is also just steps away, providing convenient access to Downtown Orlando and Central Station.
Guests have private access to the entire guesthouse through a separate entrance. The backyard is shared, and you may occasionally see me or my friendly (and partially blind) dog, Penny. She may bark when you arrive but quickly settles down.
Free street parking is readily available directly in front of or very near the property. Driveway parking may also be available upon request.
This guesthouse is located in a lively urban neighborhood, so you may occasionally hear normal city sounds such as traffic, rain, birds, or neighborhood activity. If you're looking for complete seclusion, this may not be the best fit. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, centrally located home base with character and walkability, I think you'll love staying here.

The property was exactly what we expected for our short adventure to Orlando, the experience was great overall, The property owner was very informative and allowed us to check-in a day late after our flight got mixed up, although we didn't receive a refund for the first night due to the late notice. Definitely a hidden gem amongst the city, would definitely recommend! It was very unique!

The house was very nice, cozy and welcoming, if a bit dim, and in a quiet neighborhood near plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Garren was a great host and very responsive. He was able to come and replace a few light bulbs promptly when I noticed they were out, and provided some laundry detergent so I could make use of the washer/drier. Great for the price, would stay again.

The property host was easy to get a hold of and addressed issues quickly.
There wasn’t a coffee pot in the cottage when we arrived, so I alerted the host and he provided a new one that evening.
When I alerted him that the A/C wasn’t working he did refund for the last two nights. He was apologetic and tried to have it fixed immediately, however he was not able to. Not for lack of effort. The only downsides were, the backyard property and yard surrounding the cottage needed to be cleaned up. Blinds need replacing and some outlets were not working, towel rack in bathroom broken, toilet not secure, floor mat in bathroom needs replacing. Place needs some TLC. Lastly parking is on a first come first serve basis. Guest will need to park out in street if someone is parked in the driveway. This can be somewhat difficult for someone who has difficulty walking any distances.
