Charming recently remodeled fishing cottage with 2 bedrooms and one full bathroom in Buckeye Lake, Ohio; a vibrant lakefront town with bars, restaurants, boat rentals, kayak rentals, and fishing!
Home consists of 2 bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 twins, and an air mattress to sleep the total listed of 6). It also has one full bathroom (walk in shower). Home was completely rebuilt in 2023 and is all new inside and out. Open floor plan, granite countertops, new appliances, and all new furniture. Memory foam mattresses, smart TVs in all bedrooms, and adorable fishy themed decor. Less than 1 mile from buckeye lake boat launch, located in Cranberry Bay.
** Max of 2 cars for your stay. Street parking is strictly prohibited **
Guests have the whole home, private backyard with BBQ and Fire Pit, pergola
We are available via phone or through the airbnb platform, we are not on site.
Early check-in (2pm) and late check-out (12:30pm) are available for an additional $75 each. Pets welcome for $75 additional fee.
All Short-Term Rentals in the Village of Buckeye Lake are governed under Ordinances #2022-56, #2023-27 and #2023-60.
Home has exterior Cameras at entry doors and parking area for security.
No smoking allowed in the house.

We enjoyed our stay. There were just a couple small maintenance items that could have been taken care of before our stay. The host did an amazing job with communication.

Great location for our weekend getaway! House was really nice and the hot tub in the back yard was relaxing. I wish they had a bigger couch to watch tv for the living room but that’s not a deal breaker and this was still a great property.
Communication was top notch and replied within the hour.

The washer/dryer shook the entire house when operating. Flame on BBQ would not adjust to high. There was plenty of propane fuel. Not sure what the problem is. Mine was a working trip, so the accommodations were more than sufficient. Host was very responsive. Thank You.

Gone fishing is a cute little cottage in a quiet lakeside village. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing under the cool starry night sky. We enjoyed our little getaway a lot and would stay there again. One thing we would have appreciated having, was blinds at all the windows. With it being in town and close neighbors, privacy inside is important to us Our sincere thanks and appreciation!
