Aqua Vista - Tiny Floating Cottage #1
This luxurious Tiny Floating Cottage (TFC) has everything vacationers will need to relax in style on the water in South Haven Michigan. It can sleep up to six people and boasts a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and a smart TV. There is a bunk room with two twin-size beds and in the living room an IKEA fold-out sleeper sofa. Fully equipped Bathroom with stand up shower.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave and a coffeemaker. The TFC is air-conditioned in the summer and heated during the winter to ensure guests are comfortable no matter the outside climate. There is a sectional sofa to kick back on in the living area, a 60" smart TV and a coffee table that opens to a full-size kitchen table that provides seating for guests to socialize after a day of exploring SOHA. Towels and linens are provided.
The Aqua Vista has a large roof deck accessible via a spiral staircase that makes for the perfect place to relax and take in the sights. The roof deck is partially covered and furnished with sectional couches, a table and chaise lounges. Guests will be able to enjoy the stunning views afforded in all directions and overlooking the marina basin. There is a small deck off the master bedroom facing the marina basin and there is also a covered patio with furniture and a gas grill located on shore adjacent to the slip.
This unique TFC rental resides on the Black River, perfect for a wonderful weekend getaway or a vacation of exploring the stunning Lake Michigan coast. This TFC is located at Woodland Harbor Marina, part of the Harbor Club Resort and Marina, offering a full resort experience. The marina has a full club house and an outdoor seasonal heated pool for guests’ enjoyment. Boats, golf carts, kayaks and bicycles are available for rental.

Check in at 4pm EST. If housekeeping staff is able to prepare the home sooner, we will make every effort to contact guests and allow an early check in.
At least a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Guests have until 30 days prior to check in to pay the remaining balance. Please contact our reservationist for specific details.
All towels, linens, paper products, and a starter kit of soaps are included in the cottage rental. Guests receive access to the resort's marina, clubhouse, community pool, and fire pits.

Our stay was fantastic! We loved the location, we loved being on the water, and we loved how clean the property was! Beds were comfy, there were extra blankets, pillows, towels, and beach towels, and it was keyless entry which made it easy to come and go. Our kids loved walking the dock every night, looking at all the wildlife (especially turtles!).
The only “issue” that we had was the air condition unit, right outside the bunk bed room. It was extremely loud all through the night. It made a loud vibration in the whole room and kept my kids awake. The other parts of the property were not loud, only the back of the house. Air stayed nice and cool inside, just a very loud noise coming from the outside unit. We did not notice that sound on the other floating cottages next to us.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here rather than a hotel!

First- I have to say, I have always given 5 star reviews for places we’ve stayed, this is my first below. We know it matters, and don’t take these lightly. The house on the water was cute in concept, we were really looking forward to our stay. It was fairly clean, although a bit weathered from use. When we arrived, we were surprised to find multiple flies inside the unit. We didn’t equate them to the bathroom until day two. By the end of the second day, the raw sewage and concentrated urine odor, along with an increase in flies, became almost unbearable despite the room deodorizer and fly traps we bought while there. We did our best to manage the experience- staying outside when we could, or away from the boat with activities. Location was about a 10 min drive to the beach/restaurants/downtown area.
