I have vacationed at this property with family and friends over the last 10-12 years. At my recent stay, I noticed the steep driveway to and from the property has few large and deep potholes that could use repairs/maintenance by the host. Thanks!

Literally the nicest place I've ever stayed in Hocking Hills. It's absolutely exactly as shown in the pictures and would be a dream place to live. - Kitchen - amazing - Comfort - 1000% - Hot tub, sauna, massage chairs - WOW - Very private location - Fish pond - super cool - Shower - best I've ever experienced - TV's/Games/Record player - all well thought out and implemented - Fire pit - looked incredible but didn't have a chance to use it - There are a ton of little things that the owner did that I really appreciated like a well stocked kitchen, helpful notes, etc - Location - could not be closer to Old Man's Cave - 5 min driveOnly negatives were as follows: - Camera above the hot tub feels invasive - Some odd cleaning issues even though 95% of the place was perfectly cleaned (one dirty full of strange fluid water bottle, grill uncleaned, shower pumps all either empty or ran out in the first day) - Smoke detectors in the guest and upstairs bedroom were OBNOXIOUS. Think sleeping in a room with a strobe light. I know they have to blink but wow it made for a poor nights sleep. Bring an eye mask or use the one provided by the owner. - Driveway was fine but pretty treacherous. I was glad we had our SUV

Clean remodel work and very clean accommodations. Great fire pit, sauna clean and nice new amenity. Massage chairs have some wear since they are clearly enjoyed! Water feature with coy great and relaxing for our reading retreat weekend. Hot tub unfortunately didn't work because of electric issue but host very fast to respond and accommodating. Some trees and limbs around wooded property have come down and need some care eventually but nothing that caused issue or disruption. Drive path to house is washed out since we had lots of rain this spring but our specific stay was most beautiful weekend we've had all summer.If you want to actually enjoy time with family or friends in a beautiful space, this is the perfect option.

There's a lot to say about this beautiful space tucked way up in the mountain side (definitely take an AWD/higher sitting vehicle). Gorgeous views, lovely-modernized space with everything you could imagine using. We had some broken amenities (massage chairs, jacuzzi tub and tv). The TV was replaced immediately; staff to do so were extremely kind. For the price of the stay I would have expected a much cleaner place with all amenities working properly. Location for hiking trails is superb.
