- we had a lot of space in the room (which was nice compared to the big cities)
- own Onsen was great and relaxing after a day of walking
- the food was really good. We enjoyed the Kaiseki-style menu. It was a great experience and something different and I guess anyone could find enough food that they like
- even though I do eat fish, I don’t necessarily like it for breakfast and the staff was very accommodating changing it to an omelette :-)
- staff was anyways super nice
- our own Onsen was very hot (not sure whether it’s meant to be that way)
- there’s not much around so if you don’t book including meals you should probably eat in town before you return to the hotel

We were amazed at the idyllic location and peaceful vibe of the property. Staff are friendly and welcoming, they are clearly very proud of the hotel and all that it offers. Excellent food and dining experience - the location can feel quite remote, so I would recommend booking the breakfast and dinner package.

The room was large and comfortable with a private onset that was wonderfully relaxing.
The walk to restaurants and shops was dangerous with no sidewalks and a bit far. The bus is very close though.

I liked the private onsen. Some staff friendly helpful. Shuttle to station really good
Being told you have dinner and breakfast at a set time. Having no input on what was delivered. I liked Japanese traditional food but to have no alternative was extremely poor especially hot breakfast no fruit bread or pastries. No coffee or tea at breakfast. Also the hotel needs investment carpets warn items looking unkept. I would not stay again
