It is right across the street from the golf course and is a short shuttle ride to the ski hills, Mountain Grand Lodge, and Avalanche Bay. “The condo was awesome. We stayed here for a guy's golf trip and it was everything we needed. Spacious enough for 8 of us. It's directly on Deer Lake which was very pretty. Grilling and playing yard games right by the lake made for a nice evening. 28 minutes from Bay Harbor; walking distance to The Alpine and The Monument Clubhouse. I'd come back and bring the family any day of the week. Betsy and Jason were gracious hosts; I had messaged them if there was more paper towel in the condo just to see where I could find it and not 30 mins later a gentleman showed up with rolls of paper towel for us. He was super kind. Do not have any negatives. Thanks so much!”
“The rental was exactly as described and there were no surprises. Betsy and Jason were proactive in their communication leading up to and during the stay to ensure everything was going well. It was a great location that allowed our family to come and go while skiing at Boyne.”

The condo offers two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king sized bed and a queen sized bed. The second bedroom has two queen sized beds. Both bedrooms have televisions available.

There are two full bathrooms that both have a separate room for the bathtub/shower and toilet. This offers many places to get ready for the day or bed at night.
☆☆KITCHEN☆☆
The kitchen is open to the living room with barstool seating surrounding the countertop. You can cook a meal in the full kitchen that includes all the necessities while still being a part of the social activities of your group.
Next to the kitchen, you will find a dining room table for another comfortable place to eat. This is also where you will find a washer and dryer for our guests to use.
☆☆LIVING ROOMS☆☆
The living room space is open to the kitchen and dining room space and is positioned for amazing lake views. Either watch the water or the television as you relax in the space. The sofa is a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.
☆☆ENTRANCES & OUTSIDE SPACE☆☆
There is one main entrance to the condo, but multiple sliding doors. The sliding doors are wonderful for picturesque views of the lake all year round. You can walk out the sliding glass doors and immediately into the lake. You could swim here or take a short walk to the sandy beach area in front of the Beach House Restaurant. At this beach, you could rent a kayak or SUP. If you prefer motorized watercraft, you could bring your boat and anchor it right in front of the condo.

We are thrilled to announce that our vacation home at Deer Lake Villas at Boyne Mountain is now officially a dog-friendly location! Your furry companions are welcome to join you for a relaxing getaway, but we kindly ask that you follow the rules set by the Homeowners Association (HOA) to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Dog Guidelines:
Limit: A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per stay.
Behavior: Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated, in accordance with HOA policy.
Leash Policy: Dogs must be kept on a leash and under direct supervision at all times when outside.
Excrement Cleanup: Please clean up after your dog immediately to maintain the cleanliness of the grounds.
Inside the Condo:
For the consideration of future guests that may have a dog allergy and general cleanliness of furniture, we ask that dogs not be allowed on the furniture during your stay.
Please clean up after your dog during your stay to maintain the condo’s cleanliness.
Noise Considerations: We want everyone to enjoy their time at Deer Lake Villas, so we ask that you be mindful of noise levels. If the HOA receives a noise complaint regarding your dog, they will reach out to you. A second complaint may result in the removal of your dog to a local boarding facility.

Best boyne villa in the area. The property was super clean and nicely updated. The host was very good at communicating, and always answered my messages. We would definitely rent for them again.

We spent 5 nights at at this place with 2 kids and a dog. That was a very good stay. The host is super responsive. The lake is just a step from the leaving room. The golf course is 500 ft walk. Boyne resort with multiple activities is 7 minutes drive. We definitely will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom, and we appreciated the fluffy towels and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we've seen in a rental. It had everything we needed and then some. We also appreciated having plenty of extras on hand—toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, etc. We've stayed at places that only leave one extra of everything, so this was a pleasant surprise.There were a few board games and a deck of cards available, and overall it felt like the owners had really thought about what guests might need to make their stay comfortable.Communication was great. The host checked in after we arrived to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything.The location right on the lake is beautiful. The weather wasn't ideal during our stay—it was cool and rainy—but we brought our pontoon boat and were able to tie it up right in front of the condo. The boat launch is just down the road, making it very convenient. The lake has a sandy bottom and is fairly shallow, so the water was already a comfortable 76 degrees in early June.We also took advantage of the complimentary Boyne shuttle, which took us to the mountain for lunch, a walk across the SkyBridge, and a few drinks.Overall, this is a great property and we would definitely stay here again.

Compared to the Villa we had moved from, the bathrooms were very tight and personal items were left in the shower[full size shampoo, body wash, and soap bar].
Noticeable lack of storage for personal items, clothing.
The kitchen was not equipped with enough to accommodate our group without doing dishes. Used knife with food build up in silverware drawer. Coffee pot[s] had old water with a bug in the tank. Kuerig had a used K-pod.
All 4 electric cooking surfaces did not heat up.
Overall it met our needs for the 2 nights but I would not have wanted to stay there with a group of 10.
