The romantic fishing village of Wiek is located in the northwest of the island of Rügen, in an idyllic rural setting and in close proximity to the beautiful Baltic Sea beaches of Juliusruh (6 km) and Glowe (11 km), as well as the lighthouses at Cape Arkona (14 km).
Our tranquil vacation home, “Wiekend,” is located on the Wieker Bodden. The cottage, with its spacious, idyllic garden, invites you to relax and unwind; there’s plenty of room for children to play, and little pirates can have fun exploring an old fishing boat and going on adventures while their parents or grandparents enjoy the terraces. (Part of the garden is not fenced.) On sunny days, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the island of Hiddensee with its famous landmark, the lighthouse. Hikers and cyclists can reach the island by ferry from Wieker Harbor.
Water sports enthusiasts will find everything they could want here—whether it’s kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, or fishing, it’s all available right on site.
The kitesurfing/windsurfing spot right outside the front door offers a large flat area with ideal conditions for both beginners and experts.
