Breathtaking Views is a spacious 10-bedroom cabin perfect for weddings, family gatherings or group getaways. Enjoy stunning mountain scenery, create memories at the outdoor covered picnic pavilion, relax in one of the two hot tubs, or gather around the cozy indoor fire pit. Our Story: The Breathtaking Views Difference
We purchased our resort property six years ago with a clear vision: to completely redefine the Gatlinburg group travel and wedding experience.
The property previously operated under the name "Almost Heaven," functioning as an all-inclusive wedding venue where outside services were bundled and marked up. When we took over, we changed our name to Breathtaking Views Resort and completely disrupted the traditional business model to put control back in the hands of our guests.
We converted the original wedding pavilion into our spectacular, highly popular 10-bedroom flagship cabin. Instead of forcing guests into expensive, rigid packages, we only charge for lodging. This allows you to handpick your own caterers, photographers, and florists directly—saving you thousands of dollars by paying actual vendor costs.
A Quick Note on Our Reviews
Because we completely revolutionized the way things were previously run, our transition ruffled a few feathers among old competitors and dropped vendors. Additionally, names like "Breathtaking Views" and "Almost Heaven" are quite common across the Smoky Mountains, leading to occasional mix-ups.
We also strictly enforce local laws, safety regulations, and community guidelines to protect our property and ensure a peaceful stay for our neighbors. Booking our flagship cabin allows up to 46 guests to stay under one roof. When the lodging costs are distributed among the group, the per-person cost drops dramatically compared to booking separate cabins all over town—making your actual event space practically free!
Want a formal catered dinner? Or a casual pizza night by the deck? You have the complete freedom to design your your wedding your way. For larger groups, we also own additional cabins within short walking distance, allowing everyone to stay close while giving some guests a bit of extra privacy.

This cabin is located on a scenic mountain road with beautiful mountain views. It's about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. It is located just minutes from the major attractions, shopping, and dining.
This cabin is located about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg with easy access to Pigeon Forge. Enjoy any of the several local wineries, or make it an adventurous vacation by taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer from biking, hiking, tubing and rafting, to scenic driving, shopping, or visiting one of the location events, amusement parks and more!
If you decide to leave your mountain paradise you will find you are not far from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Hiking at Greenbriar, or all downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. You are also a short back road drive away from the heart of Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede, or Beyond the Lens. So no matter what you are looking for in a vacation.

The property was perfect for our group with a wide range of ages. There were stunning views right out the back windows and plenty of space to move around inside.

We had the most amazing week!! The venue is absolutely beautiful!! The hot tubs were clean and an amazing place to enjoy a cold beverage while enjoying the scenery from the mountain top!! We really did enjoyed the "Breathtaking Views"!!! Was the most incredible place to host our daughter's destination wedding! The host was extremely accommodating!! Gina, assuming she's the manager on duty who oversees everything, was more than gracious and helpful!! No matter what time of the day I needed anything I knew I could call and count on her!! I couldn't believe we actually saw a mama bear and her cubs everyday!! They did show up during the indoor reception so everyone was even able to take photographs!! Every guest that came for the wedding was just in awe of the place!! The kitchen was nice to work in while feeding everyone who stayed. The layout we provided to the staff before checking in for the wedding was set up perfectly!! We had a very nice seating, entertaining area for the week and a perfect table set up for the reception!! The fire pit, which is now a real wood burning fire pit instead of propane, was used every night, and such a bonus!! The 2 charcoal grills worked out perfectly for our home style rehearsal dinner! The bedrooms were spacious & nice with their own private bath! It was also so nice to have 4 full refrigerators in the venue, with one of them being on the second floor in a hallway kitchenette! The memories we created were amazing and we will come again!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was beautiful and clean, and you could not ask for a better view off the back porch! 5 stars from us and if we ever get the chance to stay there again, we will!

There were bugs and cobwebs. We let the host know about the bugs but they didnt seem to alarmed. Floors in multiple showers felt like they were going to fall through any moment. We were not told we would need to provide dishwasher pods and trash bags.
