This spacious 4-bedroom 3-bathroom home comfortably sleeps 12 guests, offering the perfect setting for large family gatherings or reunions with friends. Nestled in a vibrant, non-resort area of Kauai, you’ll enjoy a truly authentic island experience, immersed in the natural rhythms and local culture of the area.

Our 3600 sq ft beachfront house boasts unique A-frame architecture with high vaulted ceilings and sweeping panoramic ocean views. The home is designed to bring people together, with a generous 1200 sq ft open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area at its heart. This communal space invites you to gather, share meals, and relax—all while enjoying uninterrupted views of the ocean.
Step outside to our expansive oceanfront lanai, perfect for outdoor dining, lounging in the hammock, or unwinding in the hot tub under the stars. It’s the ideal spot to take in the raw beauty of Hawaii’s coastline.
Retreat to our two master suites, each with en-suite bathrooms for your comfort. The upstairs suite offers a private deck, and the downstairs suite provides easy access for those who prefer fewer stairs. Two additional ocean-facing bedrooms also await you downstairs.

The home was good overall. The location is very convenient for getting around the island, and the hosts were responsive and left some nice goodies for us at check-in. The house itself feels a bit dated and worn, with an unusual layout. The main living space is upstairs, which includes the kitchen, living room, dining area, deck with jacuzzi, and the primary bedroom/bathroom. One challenge is that the only TV and bathroom on this level are located inside the primary bedroom, so access requires going through the bedroom or heading downstairs. The private deck off the primary bedroom wasn’t usable as had no furniture and was dirty. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils. The living room setup was less comfortable; the couch had very thin cushions and sat quite low to the ground, and without a TV in that area, it wasn’t ideal for gathering and relaxing but it did have a very nice view of the ocean.The remaining bedrooms are located downstairs. The sofa beds are in the theater room, which felt a bit cramped, and this room is situated at the back of the house without an ocean view.

We spent a week here. Plenty of room to accommodate our 3 families of 10 people. Kids loved the theater room, beautiful views from the back, plenty of beach accessories, distance to beach is perfect, hot tub is a nice added touch. Location is a nice distance between north and south destinations. We drove to Kapa'a for most of our dinner meals, which is 10 minutes away. We stocked up on breakfast and lunch items at Safeway before coming to house. Things to consider; you are mixed in with the locals so it's not a "resort" area. Yes, there is a sketchy area of people living outside in their cars, yes the chickens crowing and dogs barking are loud, yes locals drive on the beach. Our only complaint is the house does not have AC in the kitchen and dining area and it's super hot in July. We did request extra box fans and they were delivered to house quickly. They helped to blow around the hot air but it was still much cooler outside on the lanai and in the basement. If you are looking for a local experience away from the hustle and bustle, this is your place!

The beach is out the backyard - fabulous. The waves, sand and provided beach gear (umbrella, chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, wagon) were great! The view, proximity to the beach and sound of the waves were all perfect. Unfortunately, around 6:00-7:00am the next door neighbor's nine dogs woke up and the howling and barking began. It would quieten down after few minutes, but intermittently happen again throughout the day. That, combined with the roosters (an island staple), which began crowing around 5:00 a.m. meant that no one slept in. And then toward the middle/end of our weeklong stay, we saw a mouse in the laundry room and another in the kitchen. The management company was very prompt in bringing over mousetraps, one of which was successful. Thankfully my husband was there to deal with the dead mouse, so that chore did not fall to me. The master bedroom is open to the living/kitchen area, so unless everyone was asleep or out of the house, there was noise. Also, be aware, there are steps down into the master and then up to the master shower and toilet room. And one last thing - the bedrooms have individual A/C units and can be kept comfortable, however there is no A/C in the kitchen/living room. Early morning cool breeze feels good, but it just gets warmer as the day goes on.
