The copper mine, located about 10 km away, is a hidden gem. Guided tours are available. Our Lake Eder, with its dam and boat tours, is perfect for a day trip. Several boat rental stations are located around the lake.
The nearby beech forest, home to Germany’s oldest beech trees, is also a hidden gem. In the nearby cathedral city of Fritzlar, you can explore the beautiful old town and enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee.
