This three-bedroom holiday home is comfortable with cosy open-plan living. You can curl up with a good book or flick on the TV, but the real show is out the doors and on the deck, with stunning views across Kororareka Bay.
Soak up some sun here and watch boats track across the harbour, while the BBQ is fired up for some tasty Kiwi kai!
The central location of Te Maiki Escape is just a 5 minute walk into the village centre, where you'll find the 4 Square, cafes and the tavern. Newports Chocolate shop is a must for anyone wanting to indulge their sweet tooth.
The Russell wharf is also a short walk from your doorstep where many local attractions depart from, including boat charters of all kinds, fishing, Bay of Islands cruises, dolphin and whale watching and parasailing. The best way to experience this beautiful region is from the water!

After reading some previous not so flash reviews about Te Miami Escape, we were mentally preparing ourselves for our stay.However to our relief, it seems every negative review got rectified/fixed and sorted in the house. We had the most gorgeous stay here! The views there are outstanding, location brilliant and the house was clean and had everything we needed. We would just suggest supplying a fan for every room - especially for the upstairs room as that gets really hot during the night.We would go back and stay in a heart beat! Absolutely loved it!

The house was amazing to stay in with the family. Amazing views, walking distance from the town and a cozy house. Loved the experience.

A great comfortable bach for anyone wanting to be located in Russell - just a short walk down into town with awesome views from the lounge & balcony. Very neat and tidy inside - a couple appliances are a bit old, but still in good condition and work perfectly. We would have loved to stay longer if we had the time.
