Super Clean and spacious. Excellent location. The place inside is a quiet and comfortable. You are in middle of of city with all pros and cons about Downtown Detroit.

Let me begin by saying that the home was clean and I had a place I felt I could sleep. The host, Ed did come by to check on our concerns - However he did not resolve any of them. We rented the 2nd/3rd floors of this townhome. 1) The air on the 2nd floor did not work the entire stay. This was the 4th of July and it was HOT! We could not use this floor that was the living room kitchen and dining room areas. 2) There were gnats/fruit flies everywhere on 2nd and 3rd floor areas including the bedrooms 3) Musty/Moldy oder in one bedrooms coming from air vent when ac was on 4)Back deck was not useable there were old molded torn cushions. We had hoped to grill- NOT 4) Sink on 3rd floor didnt work. 5) Broken and dirty toilet seat cover VERY IMPT 6) Townhome sits between two vacant properties. One of which used to be a club. Homeless people stay in the storefront area. On the 4th of July they even had a grill and music and enjoyed their weed among other things. At one point there were at least 15-20homeless people hanging out. They did not bother us- but we were three women staying there alone and not prepared for for homeless camp next door. In addition the smell of urine was very strong around the front door as you approached the townhome. The home has good bones but need a lot of TLC including new carpet. Great location but definitely a 2-3stars at best.
