À propos de cette location de vacances
In Low German, that’s “Blomsterhus.” That’s our home, and we’d like to tell you a little about it.
The Blomsterhus, lovingly restored in 2019, is a timber-framed house in the Alten Land region. It offers you a high level of comfort in a very tastefully furnished setting with a large garden surrounded by apple and cherry trees. The house is located on the edge of a vacation village and is just a 5-minute walk from the Elbe River. Since we also enjoy using the house ourselves, you’ll be greeted by a cozy and private atmosphere.
We completely renovated the Blomsterhus over a period of 4 months with great attention to detail, including the installation of a new central heating system, high-quality hardwood floors, a new bathroom, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. Our Blomsterhus features three bedrooms with very comfortable box-spring beds. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and can be used free of charge.
The large, enchanting garden and the terrace offer plenty of space to relax in the fresh air. Just a short walk away is the wonderful outdoor summer pool right on the Elbe River.
In Twielenfleth, you’ll find farm stands, a bakery, a butcher shop, and a supermarket for your daily needs.
The Alte Land region along the Elbe River, just outside the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg, Buxtehude, and Stade, is known to most people for its breathtaking display of colors in May. It is the largest contiguous fruit-growing region in Europe. You can buy this fresh fruit at the farm stands of the fruit farms, all of which are located in the immediate vicinity. Interesting farm tours, wonderful walks, and extended bike rides invite you to explore this natural landscape all year round. The beautiful towns of Jork and Stade also have much to offer culture and art lovers. Day trips to Hamburg or to the North Sea and Baltic Sea are highly recommended.
Come take a look—we look forward to welcoming you as our guests.
