The unit we stayed in had plenty of space for the 8 in our group. We appreciated that it was well stocked for staying in to cook and enjoy family time. The space worked well for playing games and socializing.One of the downfalls was that both bathrooms and showers were downstairs, just outside the two bedrooms, so for those with gastrointestinal issues they felt a little cautious using the bathrooms when others were in their rooms. And for those in the loft, it was a few flight of stairs to get down to the bathroom and shower. The bathrooms had pocket doors and didn't lock, but that was not an issue for us.The floors were a bit squeaky so those in the bedrooms could hear people walking above them.They warn about bears and we didn't realize there happened to be resident bears onsite at the complex. They roam the property and sleep under the decks at times, but they did not bother the guests.We visited the upper pool and hot tub and had a fabulous time. The weather was a bit chilly with the wind so we didn't swim in the lake, but did enjoy walking on the beach and enjoying the views and talking with other guests. All workers on the property were friendly and helpful when we engaged with them.This property is close to grocery stores and restaurants so we were able to walk to them.We had a great trip minus the cooler than expected weather for July.

Lakeland Village was a great place to stay. Everything was nice and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. It’s close to the supermarket and also near Heavenly, which made getting around really easy. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend it

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this South Lake Tahoe vacation rental — truly couldn’t have picked a better spot!The location is unbeatable. It’s just minutes from the Heavenly Gondola, shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, which made everything so easy and convenient. We were able to walk to town, grab coffee in the morning, pick up groceries for dinner, and head to the gondola without ever stressing about parking or long drives. Being that close to everything made the whole trip feel relaxed and effortless.The house itself was the perfect size for our group of five. It felt spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out so everyone had room to spread out while still feeling cozy together. It was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. Amazing location, perfect space, and a seamless experience from start to finish.11/10 recommend — we would absolutely stay here again!
