À propos de cette location de vacances

A property used for short-term rentals located in the municipality of Cossogno, a town of 651 residents in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in Piedmont. Part of its territory lies within the Val Grande National Park. The vacation home is a detached house spread over three floors, fully furnished and equipped with all amenities, including towels, sheets, dish towels, and tablecloths. Each floor has its own bathroom and a balcony from which guests can enjoy the peaceful landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, dishes, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and microwave), and the property includes a washing machine and ironing supplies.
The house is easily accessible by car, and there are several free parking areas nearby.
Starting on foot from CASA Da NONNA PINA, you can embark on numerous hikes of varying difficulty and distance, following old mule trails nestled in the woods and clearly marked on maps. The Bassa Val Grande Nature Area of the Val Grande National Park allows you to discover the historical and natural features of Cossogno through self-guided trails equipped with information boards and explanatory panels. A must-see just a short walk from the property is the so-called “PONTE ROMANO” consisting of a single stone arch built at the narrowest part of the valley, marking the border between the territory of Cossogno and neighboring Rovegro, from where you can see “l’orrido dei cani”—a splendid ravine carved by the river’s waters.
Also worth seeing is PARCO D’INOCA, known for its pine forest and the small church of Inoca, built in the first half of the 17th century on the site of a previous chapel dedicated to the Madonna di Re, the park’s patron saint. .
A 10-minute drive away is Lake Maggiore, a popular tourist destination known for its Borromean Islands and the botanical garden “Villa Taranto,” considered the most beautiful in Europe.
