As its name suggests, Retreat Lodge is the ultimate sanctuary for relaxation, nestled in a tranquil woodland setting with serene views. The spacious open-plan living area, kitchen, and dining space are designed in a warm, inviting palette, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, fridge/freezer, built-in oven, and microwave, making it perfect for both casual meals and leisurely cooking.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a TV, and a stylish en-suite shower room including complimentary Molton Brown toiletries, while the twin bedroom with 3' single beds shares access to a contemporary family bathroom. Sliding doors open onto the private decking area, extending the living space outdoors and providing the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

For added luxury, adult bathrobes and slippers are provided, and the lodge includes WiFi for those who wish to stay connected. The highlight is your private hot tub, ideal for unwinding after a day exploring the Lake District, while the decking area with patio furniture is perfect for enjoying a glass of something special as you soak in the woodland views.

Parking is available for two vehicles. This holiday home is not pet friendly.

Arrival Information

Arrival time is 4.00pm and check out is 10.00 am. Sheratons and Aspen properties will accommodate a 5th person on a sofa bed where a £25 additional charge applies.



Please note the lead name on the booking will need to present photo ID upon checking in.

Please note that the playpark will be closed for refurbishment from the 31st of October until the end of April 2026. During this period, there will be some construction work taking place, which may cause minor disruption. However, measures will be in place to minimise inconvenience to guests.
