The spacious upper-level deck provides picturesque views of the lake and surrounding mountain peaks — a perfect spot to unwind. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen and a game room with ping pong and card tables. Outside, you'll find a fenced yard for your pup to play safely and an outdoor grill.

Conveniently located on the northern side of Lake Lure, you're less than 10 minutes from Chimney Rock Village and the Lake Lure Community Beach Water Park. Grab a decadent breakfast from Victory Kitchen before heading to Chimney Rock State Park. When you're done taking in the views, head back into Chimney Rock Village to shop local boutiques and gift shops and unwind with a glass of wine at Burntshirt Vineyards Tasting Room and Bistro. Asheville is a 45-minute drive from Lake Lured Away and is perfect for a day trip to try award-winning restaurants, hop between craft breweries, attend a concert, and enjoy a seasonal festival. While in Asheville, be sure to schedule a tour of the Biltmore Estate and wander the exquisite grounds and special exhibits.

PLEASE NOTE: Lake Lured Away has a staircase that leads to its private dock on the lake, but the home itself is located across the street from the lake. This house is dog-friendly, with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. WIFI is extremely limited due to the connectivity of the provider, and cell phone service is not guaranteed.

Lake Lured Away is subject to specific regulations and guidelines enforced by Lake Lure. Certain types of watercraft are prohibited, and ALL watercraft (motorized and non-motorized) must obtain and display a permit issued by the town to be on the lake. Renters do not have access to the boat storage beneath the deck. However, guests are welcome to tie a boat alongside the dock using the dock cleats. This home does not provide lake toys or life jackets.

Boats cannot be launched from the property, so guests should plan to use one of the nearby public boat ramps on Lake Lure.
