À propos de cette location de vacances
Nide House is located in Someraro, just 3 km from Stresa, the “Pearl of Lake Maggiore,” a famous resort town facing the Borromean Islands: Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori, and Isola Madre. Someraro is a small village with a beautiful historic center perfect for exploring on foot, where you can lose yourself in the narrow alleys, the historic stone houses, and the breathtaking lake views visible from every corner, including the small square with the church and town hall. From Someraro, unique trails lead to Mount Mottarone, Alpino, Levo, and Stresa—perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. Stresa’s lakefront offers a unique spectacle, with its marvelous gardens, historic palaces, and imposing Art Nouveau hotels. Tours to the islands depart from the Stresa pier—a must-see. Also worth visiting is Villa Pallavicino with its zoo, Mount Mottarone (1,491 m), which overlooks Stresa and offers a panoramic view; it is known as the “mountain of the two lakes” due to its strategic location between Lake Maggiore and the equally picturesque Lake Orta. On Fridays, the historic center comes alive with the traditional market, but there are also numerous shops selling local crafts and regional specialties on the Borromean Islands and in the streets of the town center. A taste of the traditional pastries, the “margheritine di Stresa,” is a must!
